Testing for Guanidinoacetate Methyltransferase (GAMT) deficiency
The Florida Department of Health, Newborn Screening (NBS) Program, is pleased to announce that as of January 2025, all newborns are being screened for Guanidinoacetate methyltransferase (GAMT) deficiency through the newborn screening process.
